Hi all! Wana show you guys my make up for my cousin's wedding last Monday at Kuala Penyu that. Well....it's not really a complete one, I just show how did I did my eyeshadow. I didn't really put much on my face, I'm having blemishes now and then. So I just put my Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation in True Beige under my eyes.

I saw items only for the eyeshadow part. I was feeling creative that day. I only had this cheap palette that I bought from Karamunsing (thanks again woman! She told me about it!) that I used for make up practices at academy (but it's really good, for RM8.90, it has like, 11 beautiful bright colours on! And it sticks!), Elianto Colour Studio in number 18, Almond and Elianto Colour Studio Shimmer Shadow in Salmon. Weird, both aren't in the website. Maybe it's discontinued?

I put on the Elianto Colour Studio in number 18, Almond on my eyelid, from the base to the fold-line of my eyelid. Which, in my case, it's short, vertically. =P

Then I layered the Almond shadow with a bright blue from the Karamunsing eyeshadow palette. I took sikit saja, it was a day thingy kan. It was pretty cool! The colour turned to silver! Dark silver! But gotta keep the blue shadow light, if not it'll really turn to bright blue! =D Looking at this pic below, I think it looks nice as it is, can skip the next step! xD

Then I applied the Elianto Colour Studio Shimmer Shadow in Salmon on the upper part. It looks like brown when applied lightly and it suits my skin tone! Chinese look, tan (I got a lot of Sun during my school days), small droopy-like eyes...you know. =P

Then I applied a light green, shimmery eyeshadow from the Karamunsing eyeshadow palette. It really makes my eyes pop! Ain't it? Looks nicer kan?

Then I just dust my Za True White Two-Way Foundation in 32 starting from the centre of my face, blending outwards. (a very very light one using the big brush). And NO second dipping into the powder. I know there'll be a possibility of hotness (it was day kan) and sweating with your make up isn't good. Sikiiiiiit saja I used.

Done! Tada! I intensified the eyeshadow colour for this tutorial so that you guys can see it. =P

Hi there girls! I wana share you guys the eyeshadow here! Well the basic is pretty much the same you know, like applying your foundation, shading if you like, powder, and apply powder under your eyes. It's all the same steps, unless you have some additions like primer or base make up to prep your face, smoothen out your facial skin or avoid oiliness later on, highlighter or something like that. Try see all the videos and How-To's. They do pretty much the same step- all have foundation, powder, bla bla bla. The only difference is the eyeshadow color and how they apply it(e.g. wet brush, gel eyeshadow, powder first, which color first, type of brush, etc) Those little techniques is what separates each and every one of them. So look for these details. =)

Oh ya, before I commence, I'm so sorry if you think high-end brands are the best and others aren't. I can't afford Mac, Lancome, YSL or anything but medium-and below range cosmetics. I think they rock too! So my tutorials will be using medium ranges like Maybelline, Revlon, Elianto, Silky Girl, Sera, etc. Arigatou gozaimasu!

So here, like how I did for my First Raya Make Up look, I did the foundation + powder thingy so that there'll be no 'tears'.

I used my Elianto Dark Purple eyeshadow (sorry, I forgot to take the product pix!! But the color is similar to the dark purple there) on the outer half of the eye. Then I used Silky Girl Duo Eye Shadow in Glamour Babe on the inner half of the eye. The pink shade won't stick if you use brush, use fingers or wet the brush out like how I did here on my first Raya 09 Look.

Then, I used Elianto Frosted Eyeliner in Frosted Black thinly. I kinda flick it out at the outer end but not the cat-eye thingy. Just to lift up my small eyes. =P

Hi everyone! I wana share you guys my look for yesterday! Oh before I forgot with all the excitement, Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri! Maaf zahir batin, kalau ada salah silap, forgive me. Hehe..

I was rushing and I was thinking of something easy, natural yet there's a hint of color on my face. I was thinking of dark brown and tone it down with pink (my baju raya was pink too, so.. xD)

1. First is you wana wash your face, tone, moisturize, sunblock. Then prep your skin for the make up application (make up primer, something like that) or you can jump right on to the next step.

2. Foundation! I didn't need soo much product on my skin, so I just applied my Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse in True Beige foundation on the centre of my face (nose) and blend it outwards with my brush to just even out my skin tone and cover those minor imperfections. I avoided my eye area as I want to cover it gentler and more precision. I find it can cover 80% of my dark eye ring!

I use tap-swipe motion to take it out of the case and apply on my face. Then use my fingers to really blend it into my skin (the warmth from fingers will warm up the product and will blend seamlessly).

As for my eyes, I take my ring finger, dab it into the foundation and dab into my Za True White Two-Way Foundation in 32. This method is very good in preventing creasing! =) Then I would just dab on my eye area, beginning from my outer corner undereye area clockwise. You don't wana go anticlockwise as it will create more fine lines. After that, I powder my face lightly with the Za powder I used just now with the big make up brush.

This is how my eye looked after.
3. Next is eyeshadow! Like I said earlier, I was thinking of dark brown and some pink with it. Here are the products:

Eyeshadow brush and this four-colored eyeshadow from eNouvelle. It's RM13.90 I think and it was on sale for 50% when I bought it. =)

Above is the pink eyeshadow. It's Elianto Shimmer Shadow in 44 Blushing Pink. It's powder type and this will work well with the foundation I used as it will cling better to the mousse (mousse contains higher oil than powder form).

4. Then when I want to apply it, I dab it into myAnnemarie Borlind Rose Dew Facial Toner first. Any water is fine (mists, toners, sprays, fixer), as long as it's liquid and it can be used on face. Why? To make the eyeshadow last longer.

I put the rosewater onto my hand like above then dab the eyeshadow brush on.

5. This step, you can skip it but I just want to show you how. This is to line your eye. Same thing, grab a brush that's short and fine, use the same technique on the rosewater thingy and dab onto powder (eyeshadow is fine too) with the color of your choice. Start lining your lower lashline from outer corner and stop at the middle. You can go all the way to the inner corner but this is daytime and the color I used was dark and will look too harsh for daytime.

6. Eyebrows are very important like your eyes and mouth. They define your face and can either make or break your face. I used powder to fill in my brows and the brush I used was hard and has that slant on it- makes my job a lot easier. Note on black powders as they can make you look too harsh and be like on of the japanese cartoons with thick, short, black coal eyebrow. But if you must, be cautious with it and put a bit by bit at a time.

8. Blusher. I love this part and everytime I go to school, when I felt like I want a lil bit of make up, I put this on and it just lifts up my face and brings life to it. I usually smile and dab the powder on the apples of my cheek, circle motion on it, den blend it out to my temples. I like the blush to be on my apples, not all the way to my temples. But I've seen women with blushers all the way up to their temples and they looked nice as the color fades as they go higher.

9. Den lipcolor. I didn't do this yesterday cuz I know, there'll be a lot of eating and drinking as I visit homes and I don't want to bother myself to going in and out of the toilet every hour to touch up my listick. So just used my Annemarie Borlind lip balm. It's organic, so I won't be swallowing chemicals when I eat or drink with it. So I suggest all of you to use organic, because, if you rely on wiping-your-lipstick everytime before eating or drinking, YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO DO SO overtime. Trust me, I wanted to do this too and before I know it, I was like, aaaah, nevermind, just this once. And it went on and on, till I bought this organic lip balm. So when you're done eating and drinking, just reapply it. Best of all, you won't need mirror to do so! xD

Just for this tutorial, I put on the lipgloss above. xD It's from Tama and it's a brand from Indonesia, less than RM20 I bought. Smells fruity too, like Revlon's lipglosses.

I wana share a look I did on my colleague, Irene during our SKM 2 A.K.A MLVK 2 (Malaysian cert) practical. We took turns and she did this look for me. I think it's the nicest anybody has ever done to me man!

Okay here's her look. I had my creative thinking on that time; I was thinking of pretty, colourful and glittery butterflies. So there it was! I focused more on the butterfly, since I never 'draw' on a face for make up before. I just did the make up like usual, using green eyeshadow on her lids (Elianto I think, cuz my eyeshadows are mostly from Elianto or Sera) and that was it. Line her eyes thinly with liquid eyeliner. Then I started to draw! The fun part actually, hehe.

I used the same darker green eyeshadow on the upper part, a green, glittery highlight on the middle (to pop the butterfly's colour) and dark purple from Sera (Sera 1 Borneo, KK). I drew the butterfly first before filling it with colours. Pretty easy actually, but it's hard to make the line's thickness the same, as when I exert more pressure or lesser, it becomes thicker or non at all and it won't look nice if you look closer la. Hehe. Then I added some green glitter (Sera, Rm7 each. Available in gold, green, white, blue,black, you name it). If I wana do this again, I would ready a black eyeshadow with a really thin brush to cover any over-the-line eyeshadow that might go over the black line of the butterfly. Doesn't look nice with the eyeshadows crossing the eyeliner, the eyeliner picks up the colour!

I thought this was stage make up, but my teacher said since the butterfly's not connected to the eye, it's fantasy. Boy was I disappointed. NOT! I know I did great! Hehehe..

I was at 1 Borneo today and was looking for some highlighters for face. Well as i was at Watson's, i saw that the Za True White Two-Way Foundation has promotion~! With just RM48.90, you can have it WITH it's refill (heart aches). I bought mine without refill and boy was i heartbroken to see that~! Anyhuuu, it has all 4 shades- 20, 21, 22 and 32 (my shade).

Well i feel like sharing my look for today, as in my make up. Here's my face after 8 hours of outing.

First, i put on Herbaline Sunscreen Lightening Cream (nano)with spf25, then i put on (the same way with) make up base, Ianti Make Up Base pump in Violet all over my face and neck (this base whitens my skin tone and it's wonderful~! It has spf15 too~!). When i put this on my eye area, i don't put it outwards, i put in inwards (under eye first), then outwards on my lids - no unwanted superficial lines on my under eyes. =)Then i put on my Revlon New Complexion Loose Face Powder in #02 all over my face and neck too. This baby comes with a puff, so to aplly it just puff it, not swipe-swipe, cuz you want the powder to STAY on your face, not to be swiped away and you think it's on when not a little of it is on your face (it's loose powder, it doesn't have to make much difference right?)

Then i start to curl my lashes with The Body Shop eyelash curler. I curl my lashes on 3 levels of it, the root, the middle and near the ends. Sometimes i just clip it on the ends and swipe it upwards (make sure you don't grip too hard or your man's gonna have a eyelashLESS girlfriend later~!)

Then i put coats of my Maybelline Volum' Express Turbo Boost® Waterproof Mascara on my lashes. After applying, i love to use the tip of the mascara brush and tip it on the ends of my lashes to make it look longer. It really works~!

Here are the stuff that i used: Clockwise: Revlon New Complexion Loose Face Powder in #02, Revlon Glossylicious in Lychee Sorbet, Maybelline Volum' Express Turbo Boost® Waterproof Mascara, Ianti Make Up Base pump in Violet, Clinelle Lip Solutions SPF36 Moisturizing Lip Balm, The Body Shop eyelash curler.

As for my blusher, i use Silkygirl Blusher in Nectar Blush on the apples of my cheeks (smile and mush the brush on those two little apples you see).

Last but not least, my lips~! I used Clinelle Lip Solutions SPF36 Moisturizing Lip Balm (eventhough I'm gonna be at a mall, i still need to protect my lips from the sunray! It still can get my lips you know). After that, i used Revlon Glossylicious in Lychee Sorbet because I'll be watching movie too, and this lip gloss is thick and rich in fruity smell, so I don't think my lips are gonna get dry after 2 hours of movie (air conditioned, right?).

Finally, i use black and brown eyebrow pencil on my eyebrows to add more colours and learn to mix it up because if you use black only, your face will look scary. Trust me on this one. So that's it~!

I saw a post yesterday by Cailin on Hayden Panettierre’s Golden Globes makeup~! I just simply love her make up here that i must write it and thank dear Cailin for sharing~!

Her make up is so fresh and nude, with her sultry eyes and pale-pinkish lips. Her hair looks gorgeous with the waves and twists and the volume. I would really try this look on one of my night outs~!

I just learnt something on this blog (and Cailin, thanks again!) that Neutrogena doesn't sell body care only, it sells make up~! Hayden's make up was mostly from Neutrogena's from Nourishing Eye Quad in Vintage Wine to Neutrogena Soft Color Blushes in Sunny Spice and Divine Wine~!

As for today's activities, we had a make up session (again!).

They were all make up-ed in day-night look. That's why you can see difference in both sides of their faces.

Here's my beautician, Dila. She was my model (for day-night make up) and after that we switched roles. She did a bridal make up on me, just like the rest of the batch of hers.

I'll just explain my eye make up, the blushers and lipcolour is totall flexible for this look. She used Elianto Colour Studio Aurora Shadow in Wine Purple on my entire lids and shimmer black eyeshadow on the crease of my lids to form a socket eye look(from the outer lash to inner half of my lids). But then she thought i didn't look good with sockets, so she put more purple on my lids. Then she used a medium-thick line of black liquid eyeliner on my upper lashline before and after she applied falsies. She added some highlights on my inner eye area, under brow area and did shading on my nose (make it look sharper). That's about it, and my brows were a mix of brown and black colour (you'll get a gray-ish colour after mixing, so add any of the colours as needed. Don't put too much of black as this will make you look really scary)

The seniors had did a make up rehearsal for their exam too recently. There was bridal and stage look!
